Movies Seen in 2013
#10: Iron Man 3 (2013)
★★★ as a film
★★★★ as a summer blockbuster
Huzzah I actually saw another movie. And in the theatre. Here’s the thing about IM3. You can pick it apart for plot holes, pacing and overall problems in story telling. But for all it lacks as a “film” it makes up it up in being a damn good time. The one liners come fast and hard and had me in stitches. This isn’t The Dark Knight, it’s Iron Man. And frankly it worked.
To be honest my only interests lately are wrestling, records, movies and Risk Legacy. If that’s not what you wanna talk about we might not have much to discuss.

#9: Oblivion (2013)
★★★★
The first movie of 2013 that I was able to see in the movie theatre and it did not dissapoint. I know the reviews for this film are iffy at best but I was pleasently surprised. All I was hoping for was an entertaining tale, some futuristic visions and something worthwhile seeing on the big screen. Obvlivion did not fail in any of those aspects. I even found myself being surprised along the way and although the end looses some of the steam it had built up during the movie it’s not enough to detract this film watcher from giving this movie a good rating.
Also as a side note while Tom Cruise might be a bit of a big personality in real life he is charming and entertaining in movies. I knew this going in but it is solidified for me. So let’s let him off the hook for scientology and the couch jumping.
